Rated 4 out of 5 by Steve_Zodiac from Never fail to entertain! The Tubes are a 70’s rock band who I saw a couple of times at the Hammersmith Odeon back in the day. Their stage show was incredibly theatrical with many props such as a motorbike, frequent costume changes and dancers who acted out the songs. Despite all the theatrics their musicianship was always top notch. Coming up-to-date, this show 40 years later in a small venue was also very good, although obviously scaled down. It didn't start out great, with the band playing a number of cover versions and I was wondering how good the show was going to be. As soon as Fee Waybill came on stage in a straitjacket I knew things were taking a turn for the better. Incredibly, 4 of the 5 members of the band were original members. The musicianship was incredibly good with special mention for Roger Steen (Guitar) and Prairie Prince (Drums). Fee Waybill put his heart and soul into the performance and is a terrific front man. They played songs from a number of their albums but it was songs from their first 4 albums that really hit home with me. My favourite songs of the evening were, Turn Me On, What Do You Want From Life?, Love's a Mystery, Tubes World Tour and a brilliant White Punks on Dope. A thoroughly entertaining evening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by evil genius from Still Going Strong - Amazing! I saw them many (many) years ago. Back then they were a big band, and played big venues. I have to say that I kind of expected that this would be a bit of a farce. Old geezers squeezing the last few drops out of their act. Wrong! Old geezers yes, but the act was as good as ever, with all the band putting everything into the night. It was a privilege to see them again! They still absolutely rock!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Susie W from Great gig. Weird choice of venue Having seen the Tubes many times before we decided that the shorter mileage to Plymouth was worth a gamble. The venue is small, rather shabby and was not appropriate for lunch a legendary act. See the band again in a heartbeat but not at this venue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GillyJay from Revisiting my youth! I decided at the last minute to travel to Leeds to see The Tubes at Brudenell Social Club - so glad I did. I was worried about how a group of guys in their 60's would compare to the last time I saw them nearly 40 years ago. I needn't have worried! This was a great gig in a small but fabulous venue full of Tubes fans. Loved it.
