This Is The Kit Tickets
Rated 5 out of 5 by lpudunc from Great show to end the end the year This Is The Kit burst into my life after watching a BBC3 iplayer short by Guy Garvey which luckily for me coincided with TITK starting to tour the marvellous "Bashed Out" album.Have since spent the year going to as many gigs as I could to see the wonderfull Kate and her splendid friends( big shout out to Rozi) so felt I had to go to this show which possibly was the last of the year in the UK.1st the venue ,what an amazing place tucked away just off the busy craziness of dat dere London, a proper gothic chapel of calm and beauty with a real feel good vibe I'm not a religious type but this place is cool.An unexpected choice of ciders and ales available at the bar upstairs and anywhere that sells bottles of Aspalls Cru next to piping hot chicken stew and dumplings has got to be blessed. 2nd the show ,the sound here is amazingly good so every song sounded great a good mix of bashed out tracks and older back catalogue plus the treat of fantastic orchestra peeps coming and going. This Is The Kit have totally won me over this year and I strongly suggest you try her too especially at this venue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Iknowwhatilike from The backing band were good! The backing band were better than the girl singer. Won't bother again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Loooooops from Lovely exprience A great venue, lovely atmosphere, good sound quality and lighting too. I hadn't expected it to be a seated gig, but it suited the mood perfectly. The band were better live. This is rare.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greyfoodie from Kate Stables and her Band are Outstanding! Really enjoyed this gig. This is the Kit are very talented and well worth the journey and parking problems at the venue! I decided not to wave my bus pass in the air as there seemed to be quite a few in the audience who could have flashed theirs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Laraatlarge from Great band, lovely little venue I'd been enjoying This Is The Kit's distinct brand of whimsical folk on 6 Music. Lilting vocals trip off of rich guitar-driven melodies which sound even better live than on record. The Cresecent is a rare example of a space which serves the community - where a working-man's club clientele mixes seamlessly with bearded hipsters and drinks are very reasonably priced. All in all a great night out!
