The theatre is located in Queen Mary's Gardens, on the Inner Circle of Regent's Park and consequently is surrounded entirely by parkland. It is completely uncovered; the only sheltered area being underneath the tiered auditorium, which houses one of the longest bars of any theatre in London - stretching the entire length of the seating. A selection of pre-theatre dining options are available throughout the season including a hot & cold buffet, barbecue and covered dining where you can pre-book to be served dinner before the performance, with coffee and dessert served in the interval. The theatre also boasts its own picnic lawn with tables for the audience to bring their own food. The theatre houses an extensive backstage area complete with green room for the company and technical team, a full wardrobe, makeup and wigs department, a workshop and paintshop for the creation and maintenance of stage sets and numerous offices for stage management, sound, LX and other crew. The theatre is a registered charity, run by an Artistic Director Timothy Sheader and Executive Director William Village. The charity's Board of Trustees is chaired by Councillor Robert Davis DL, and includes Sir Peter Rogers, Pippa Ailion, Suzy Graham-Adriani, Robert Noble, William Village and Dame Judi Dench.
Baker Street is the closest tube station and is served by the Bakerloo, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. The venue is also close to Regent's Park Station (Bakerloo Line) and Great Portland Street Station (Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines.)
Marylebone station is a 15 minute walk to the west. Euston station is a 30 minute walk to the east.

Baker Street is served by bus numbers 13, 18, 27, 30, 74, 82, 113, 139, 189, 274. Marylebone Road is served by bus numbers 18, 205, 27, 30, 453 and N18.
Parking is free on the Inner Circle, Chester Road and Outer Circle after 6.30pm. Pay and Display at all other times.
The theatre is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Spaces in the auditorium for wheelchair users and their companions can be booked in advance with the Open Air Theatre Box Office.
An FM assisted listening system is available for people with hearing impairments. Please request a handset from the venue.
Guide dogs are welcome and can be looked after if required.

IMPORTANT WEATHER POLICY
The auditorium and stage are completely uncovered. We will make every effort to complete the performance and reserve the right to stop and start the action as necessary. Performances are never cancelled or abandoned before the advertised starting time and then only in the event of very bad weather. If cancellation or abandonment is unavoidable, ticket holders will be entitled to equivalent seats for any other performance in the main season (excludes comedy and music events), subject to availability. Music and Comedy events (which are one-off events and not part of the main repertoire) take place regardless of weather conditions.
Refunds are not given for cancellation or abandonment as a result of the weather
For a customer wishing to exchange;
Make sure you have your tickets. These need to be the original tickets you were issued with but it doesn't matter where you purchased your tickets from. At the theatre, we provide weather exchange envelopes or you can use your own. Include details with your tickets of your preferred exchange date and then you can:
- Hand this to a member of staff at the performance
- Bring it to the box office in person
- Send it to the address below
