Pool Road Campsite is situated along the main road running through Otley, the A659 Pool Road and is based on the Midgley Farm Estate. It was the ancient seat of the Harrisons. Midgley Farm as long been a farmstead and amongst the occupants over the last 100 years have been Mr George Tate Cattle dealer and farmer who for many years was a member of the old Otley district council, Mr James Cooper, and Mr William Lawson who was followed by his son also called William who was assisted by his brother John farmed the place until his death in the early 1970's
