Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing performance from a brilliant cast The first visit to a major theatre for my granddaughter of six was more than she could have hoped for or imagined. It was a very slick performance with special praise going to Garry Wilmot, Denise Welch and the amazing Rufus Hound. (AKA Mr Toad). It is a memory I will treasure for a long time to come, watching the excitement in my granddaughter's face as she followed the story intently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! I took my daughter to see Matilda earlier in the year (which we loved) and when we saw the posters for Wind in the Willows, we knew we had to see it. It did not disappoint. It was captivating from the start and I thought it was even better than Matilda. We've been listening to the CD and reliving it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Brilliant! We went with friends and all our children aged between 9 and 11 - we all thought that it was brilliant and especially loved Mr Toad. We also thought the hedgehogs were great. we would definitely recommend going to see it before it's too late.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic fun! This was a treasured outing with my eldest and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. There are certain actors who make you laugh throughout but I must say the second half was where most of the laughs were! The songs came thick and fast and my son loved the fact that characters run up the aisles at one point, immersing you into the play far more. One thing I would say is perhaps it's not for very small children as many that were at the performance were in tears - perhaps it was too dark and loud for them as the 'moments of peril' weren't scary in my eyes. Lets just say my son summed it up with the words "that was awesome!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Family Show I took our boys, aged 6 and 9 who enjoyed the show immensely. I was worried it may be 'too' musical for them but they were mesmerised. Beautiful set; beautiful costumes; and lovely songs. A wonderful show and very child centric which was a relief as so many children's shows these days have innuendos and such that I question how child focused they are. The children loved all the characters especially Mole and Weasel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous show for all ages in the family ! Went with my son and three granddaughters, age 9, 10, and 12 yrs old. Was in the royal circle row F , although felt a bit vertical up high one can still see really well , thoroughly entertaining musical show and brilliant songs and dancing, very energetic show and some actors had duo roles and the performances were fab. Mister Toad was exceptional and the hedgehog family children had beautiful voices, brilliant to include all the animals as in the book. The Badger, Mr Ratty and Mr Mole were played with such emotion and sometimes hilarity it was an enthralling show all the way through. Denise Welch was fantastic as the otter mum and also the washerwoman, duo role, did not realise she could sing ., My girls were laughing so much when Mr Toad was transformed to a washerwoman , we all had a fab time and thoroughly recommend this show. one for the memory!
