Due to popular demand York Dungeon LATES will return this autumn for another dose of after-hours scary fun! Remember it's just for adults with more scares, more laughs and more shocks.
Lates mashes up theatre, special effects and intriguing storytelling with wit, humour, and plenty of edge of the seat surprises for an afterhours experience like no other!
After delving into the dressing-up box it's time to leave the modern, working world behind and embark on a thrill filled journey through 2000 years of York's murky past - guided by a cast of York's infamous rogues and villains.
On your journey you will be served by the dark, sinister barman and toast the death and life of the hangman with a Victorian cocktail. Meet traitorous plotter Guy Fawkes , escape the Plague ridden streets of 1551 and visit the infamous highwayman Dick Turpin in York Castle Prison before facing the Witch Pricker at the Knavesmire Market Square who will be serving a Witch Pie.
LATES includes, access to the dress up wardrobe, a Victorian cocktail in the Ghosts Show, an after-hours, adults only tour of York Dungeon and warm up with a pie in market place in the Witches Show.
York Dungeon is a ticketless attraction. For admission on the day of your visit, simply bring along your booking number or show us your email confirmation on a mobile phone. It's as easy as that!
