Rated 3 out of 5 by Phil1 from Good entertainment Last years Globe gig was superb and my expectation was probably set too high this time around. Maybe they hadnt played enough gigs this year as they seemed a little off the pace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Raiderbankk from Glorious home town gig The gift that Paul Zervas and Kathryn Pepper have for writing enduring melodies filled with west coast harmonies sets them apart from the rest. It takes a lot for a band to present brand new and unheard material at a gig which is instantly captivating and rapturously received. 'Zee and P' as they are affectionately referred to, have a great respect for their audience and engage well with them. When Paul Zervas announced that he had managed to get a paper cut on one of his guitar playing fingers - "I've got a bad finger", it resulted in an impromptu audience rendition of "if you want it, here it is, come and get it" one of Badfingers great hits of the 70s. That's the sort of relationship they have with their audience. Songs from their last 2 albums were impressively delivered with the help of a tight band and the unheard (until now) songs from the album they will be releasing in 2017 give the sense that this band are about to step up the music industry ladder. They deserve to anyway. The make up of the audience was very interesting - all ages from 14 to late 60's which demonstrates Z and P's ability to "Reach Out" (from their latest album Abstract Heart) to a broad spectrum of discerning listeners. I, for one, will be avidly awaiting the new album release and of course their next live appearance in their home town of Cardiff.
