The Lyric Theatre located on Shaftesbury Avenue in London's West End. The theatre is owned and operated by Nimax Theatres and has 924 seats over four levels. The Lyric Theatre is the oldest theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, having opened in December 1888. Designed by architect C J Phipps, it was originally built for impresario Henry J Leslie as a home for operetta.

Step free access is only available to Box E & D of the Dress Circle and open 30 minutes before the performance.

Accès en fauteuil roulant

Wheelchair access is available into Box E & D of the Dress Circle. Access is via the Royal Entrance (left-hand double EXIT door as you face the Theatre) on Shaftesbury Avenue, which is open 30 minutes before the show. Please note the width of the door frame leading into Box E is 69.5 cm (27.2") wide and Box D is 69.3 cm (27.3"). We strongly recommend that you measure the wheelchair prior to booking to ensure it will fit through the doorway. Toilet Facilities There is an accessible toilet next to the Boxes.
