Rated 5 out of 5 by Magicbruno from War Horse - absolutely amazing! I went to see War Horse with my other half. I have to say the theatre production was much better than the film. The puppetry was amazing - very clever with all the sounds, little ear twitches and swishes of the tails incorporated into the bigger movements of the horses. I was sitting on the front row (eye level with the stage) and the actors kept sitting right opposite me on the stage's stairs - I felt like I was part of the show under the spotlight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by psnordo from Excellent production! My daughter and I visited London for a few days and decided to take in a play. Since it was last minute, we weren't sure what to expect. War Horse sounded like a good story; so we went with it. Our seats were in the very first row - it was incredible to see the puppeteers doing their thing up close and personal! The story was good, the acting was great, and the puppet horse was fabulous! All in all, a wonderful show! I would highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scoots457 from One horse, one man, their story. Fab-u-lous!!! I recently went to see War Horse at the New London Theatre, Drury Lane, London with my husband. We'd seen the film and friends had recommended the play so we were looking forward to a nice evening at the theatre. From the moment the performance started we were enthralled! So few props, no 'sets' and an electric atmosphere. Best of all, we'd decided to opt for stalls seats in the centre of the fourth row. It felt like we were on the middle of the action at times! But, surpassing everything were the performances. The actors were excellent but the horses rightly stole the show. They were fantastic and the skill of the 'operators' is absolutely amazing and has to be seen to be fully appreciated. I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences I've had in a theatre. I don't remember being in an audience where there was no whispering, coughing or sneezing - just total involvement. I'd recommend going to see it before it closes on 2016.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mel D from An unforgettable experience I bought tickets as a birthday present and what a fantastic surprise it was! my daughter and friend loved the play (I had seen it already). So moving, colourful and dramatic. It really made them feel as if they were in the battle zone, could feel the suffering and determination. A once in a lifetime experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by supersh from Amazing horse action Horse was well made and actors/actress who moved the horse was amazing. They animated the horse. Story itself was interesting. However, I recommend you to watch the movie prior to watching this drama. For me, it was also very interesting point to see how they put the scene in the movie on the stage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Suquie from The horses were magnificent I bought tickets for warhorse when reduced. I had been wanting to see this for a long time and i fully expected it to be brilliant. In the event i enjoyed the first half but found the second part boring.
