THE BLUES SIDE OF FLEETWOOD MAC
with Man of the World

Fleetwood
Mac were formed in 1967 by guitarist/singer Peter Green. Primarily a blues band in their early years, Fleetwood Mac achieved UK top ten hit singles with 'Albatross', 'Oh Well' and 'The Green Manalishi (With The Two Prong Crown)'.

Between 1967-1970, Fleetwood Mac were one of the best UK blues bands releasing the albums 'Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac' (1968), 'Mr. Wonderful' (1968). 'Then Play On' (1969), and 'English Rose' (1969).

Alongside that Fleetwood Mac were the backing group on Eddie Boyd's '7936 South Rhodes' album (1968) and 'The Biggest Thing Since Colossus' (1969) with Chicago pianist Otis Spann. An all-star 'Blues Jam In Chicago' album came out in 1969 with Fleetwood Mac performing alongside Otis Spann, Willie Dixon, Shakey Horton, J.T. Brown, Buddy Guy, & Honeyboy Edwards.

Man of the World will be celebrating The Blues Side of Fleetwood Mac along with the life and music of Peter Green, founder of the original Fleetwood Mac. Guitarist Remi Harris will be joined by vocalist Dave Small, bassist Tom Moore and Shane Dixon on drums to perform music from throughout Peter Green’s career.
