What people are saying about At Home With The Magic Circle
Rated 5 out of 5 by El Fitcho from My first ever live magic show was spellbinding! This was a wonderful evening, split into an hour or so of close-up magic featuring four different acts, followed by over an hour of stage magic with three acts and a very funny compere. All of the acts were very slick, very professional and very good at magic. There were (deliberately) only about 40 people there so don't expect a full-on theatre experience, but the numbers made it much more intimate and personal. The place itself was fascinating to look around and there were plenty of Magic Circle members on hand who were very personable and easy to talk to. I had a really top night, can't recommend it highly enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Colonel from Such a good show and more. A great venue for an impressive show. I was looking for something different as a birthday treat for a friend and came across the "At Home With the Magic Circle" I had no idea what to expect but I figured if you like to watch magic acts then this must be the place to see it. I was not disappointed. The show included great close up magic acts with plenty of audience participation. Time to view the museum pieces with a knowledgeable guide, and finishing with a stage show from a totally engaging performer. This is an event you should not miss if you get the chance ... assuming that magic is your thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Magical Graham from Banbury Rotarians and partners superbly entertained Once or twice a year members of the Rotary Club of Banbury hire a coach to go and see a show. The feedback on this occasion was that this trip was the best ever! Past member of the Magic Circle Rotarian Graham Anker purchased 40 tickets and judging from the excellent entertainment in the unique Magic Circle headquarters building he could have purchased more. Everything points to Graham needing to organise another trip to the Magic Circle next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dave101 from Amateur performances in a historic building We went to at home with the magic circle and where very undewhelmed. The table magic is in a small room with the audience split in two so you can hear the other performance. The acts themselves are amateur, repeated some tricks as they switch between groups, the seats are too close together and most of the tricks in the parlour performances are available to buy in hamleys! The stage show in the second half was ok but again nothing wow. 3 acts the first one was awful, tryIng to stick the show together with comedy that was worse than the magic, compare was good but was going card tricks and ring tricks on a big stage which was hard to see. The final act, a bloke off britains got talent was the best but production was poor. He kept telling sound guys to turn it up and directing lighting during the show. Not worth the price, historic surroundings but terrible experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KES3 from Traditional entertainment at its best! The entertainment starts with some parlour magic in two of the Magic Circle's atmospheric rooms, then a stage show in the theatre. All fantastic, mind boggling magic. There is also time to look at the fascinating collection of magical artifacts and memorabilia. All good clean fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sand from Birthday present This was a 60th birthday present for my husband and he thoroughly enjoyed it, especially been on the stage with one of the magicians in the main theatre. We also enjoyed the tour/talk before the "warm up" magicians - would come again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by The two JCs from Magic at its best Great night out with my 14 year old son. Don't be put off by rather strange location or buildings exterior. Lots of great tricks and illusions right under your nose. Would go again.
