Rated 3 out of 5 by Shill from The Cult - Faded Glory? I've seen The Cult now four times, but I think I am done. First of all, they came on shockingly late (meaning a shorter set - not quite 90 minutes). And while the classics are GLORIOUS as ever, some of their newer stuff is mediocre. I was with someone who'd never seen them and she enjoyed the gig, but if you've seen them before, there was nothing exceptional here. Factor in some self-indulgent rambling about cutting himself outside 285 Lafayette Street (and then getting uppity when we didn't all recognise the address as Bowie's) and ... well, enough now. It was great while it lasted (their Bowie cover tribute was great) but having a sheet as a backdrop (and not a new one either) told its own story.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rockatansky from Brilliant gig. The Cult on top form. Fantastic venue as I had never been there before. The Cult were excellent. Ian Astbury as always value for money with Billy Duffy's ace guitar work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cazzaG 66 from Brilliant Gig, Ive seen the Southern Death Cult/ Death Cult/Cult about 30 times, sometimes they are brilliant, sometimes I feel they don't want to be there! Luckily Mr Astbury was totally into it tonight. Fantastic set, songs from really old ,Horse Nation, through my favourite 'Pheonix' to a few masterpieces from Electric and some from their new album Hidden City, the set starting with the awesome Dark Angel. Then a David Bowie song from Black Star, totally amazing tribute to the legend, Great night,Cheers Guys

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anders from International Women's Day with Ian and Billy Had a right do trying to get off work early this one, but well worth it in the end. Got changed in a hurry in the staff room and just about managed to get there for show time. Thought I'd lost me keys at one point but found 'em down the back of one of the lockers. Not the best prep for a night out, but the lights went out, The Cult rocked hard and the joint and was a jumpin' ... Good songs, great group, smashing venue with good disabled access Lookin' forward to next time ...
