Venue Information

Suvilahti is a very unique and interesting venue. It was built in 1909 and started working as a power plant in 1910. The power plant then closed in 1976 with gas production ending in 1994. The real estate company Kiinteisto Oy Kaapelitalo which are owned by the city of Helsinki began developing, renting and and maintaining the facilities in 2008. The venue is home to photography studios, artists, writers, production companies and advertising agencies. The courtyard outside is massive and is used for open-air events such as Flow Festival. The Flow festival has been located at this venue every year since 2004.
