What people are saying about Bon Giovi

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Surreal Night The band were great, although tribute bands that pretend to be the actual band members is a pet peeve of mine. When you've got musical talent/ability take the credit. The wigs worn by two of the band members were laughable and one looked a lot like a piece of carpet, but that didn't detract from the night. The thing that was really odd was the venue. The gig was being held at a Mecca Bingo hall. Although the hall has a stage, it is not exactly fit for purpose as a place to see bands or other stage productions. The tables and chairs are fixed in little sets of 4 and none of them face the stage. I have never been in such a weird venue. Not to mention this is the first rock gig that I've ever had actual seats at. And it got stranger as the venue was doing table service for burgers and chips and the like. We had booked the VIP package at an extra cost as one of my friends is a big fan of the band. These tickets promised seating within the first 3 rows, which weren't exactly conventional rows, and a free glass of bubbly. When we arrived, the ticket sales had not been as good as anticipated and there was no set seating and the staff were confused by the free drink until one of the event team gave us a little piece of paper with the letters VIP scribbled on. Our glasses of bubbly weren't bubbly, we could have a standard glass of wine or a pint of larger/cider. Overall, this was a strange night but great music.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bon Giovi in Dorset Fantastic. The vocals were spot on. Could have closed my eyes and been listening to the real deal. Very intimate venue brought it alive as well and they banged out all the hits!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A brilliant evening. A fanrastic evening of top class music. It would be a travesty for the venue to close

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic tribute band I've seen them before at Eastbourne Bandstand with the previous singer. This time they played the Concorde 2 in Brighton with the new singer. Fantastic performance, especially from 'Richie'. Really wish they would play Roulette from the debut album and some tracks from 7800 degrees (In and Out of Love, Hardest Part is the Night). I think the new singer would give JBJ a run for his money vocally on the aforementioned tracks. Give it a try perhaps. Would love to see them again!! Xx

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still Brilliant I saw Bon Giovi a few years ago and they were great but I saw them again yesterday and it seems they have a new singer but are still excellent and maybe even a little better ? Had a great night ticket prices were reasonable for a tribute as I listen to a lot of niche bands that tour for not much more than these cost but was defiantly worth it! they also have a good following so no worries about being the only people there brilliant performance and set list. I have to mention the venue (station, cannock) was also great been there a few times now cheap drinks and friendly staff and crowds highly recommend the band and venue
