Often sailing close to the wind but ultimately conveying the virtues of love and dedication. The story follows Elders Price and Cunningham as they journey to Uganda. In among the topics of AIDS and famine, the missionaries ultimately question religion. With the villagers indifferent to their teachings, the men are forced to look deep inside themselves, leading to one of the show's most iconic songs: I Believe. Does the mission cause them to leave the Church of Latter-Day Saints or have their eyes been opened to the true beauty of God? In true Parker and Stone style, we get the answer in the most brutally honest, satirically sharp way possible.
