Terms and conditions

  1. By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) for the Visa See Competition 2018.
  2. This competition is being promoted by See (See is a trademark of SEE GROUP LIMITED. Registered Office: 2nd Floor, Norfolk House, 47 Upper Parliament Street, Nottingham, NG1 2AB.) in partnership with Visa Checkout. See is the promoter.
  3. The competition runs from 5 September - 27 September 2018 (Promotion Period). Entries received after 27 September 2018 will not be permitted.
  4. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over.
  5. The competition is not open to employees of See tickets or Visa (close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition).
  6. Entrants must have registered for a Visa Checkout account at the time of entry and will need to make a payment using Visa Checkout during the Promotional Period.
  7. To enter the competition, entrants must make a Visa Checkout payment to purchase tickets from the See Tickets website during the Promotional Period and tick the box to confirm entry into the draw. There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
  8. Multiple entries can be gained by making multiple purchases using Visa Checkout on www.seetickets.com, but each entry must have a separate Visa Checkout Payment during the Promotional Period.
  9. There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
  10. No responsibility will be accepted the promoter for entries not received for whatever reason.
  11. Four winners (each a Winner) will be picked by the promoter (by random) and within 30 days of the end of the competition. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days using the email they used to make the purchase. See reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  12. Each Winner will receive an email containing a unique £500 credit code to be used on the See tickets website www.seetickets.com only (the Prize). The promoter will be responsible for the delivery of the Prize.
  13. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  14. Purchases made against the £500 credit will be deducted until the balance of the credit reaches £0.00.
  15. The Prize credit will expire on 27 September 2019.

  17. The promoter reserves (in its sole discretion and so far as is legally permissible) the right to verify, using all reasonable means available to it, whether an entrant is eligible and/or whether a winning entry is valid. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or of the spirit of the competition, the promoter may, at its sole discretion, refuse to accept an entry and, if necessary, re-allocate any Prizes won in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  18. All entries must be made by the person entering the competition. Anyone trying to circumvent this rule by using alternative details will be disqualified from this competition. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force' or any other automated means, that person's entries will be disqualified and any Prize award will be void. Syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices or processes are not allowed and all such entries will be disqualified and any Prize won will be null and void. In the event that the competition is subject to any form of multiple entry activity or other abuse, either as described above or by way of other mechanisms, the promoter reserves the right to include additional fields on the competition entry page. Such added fields will only require entrants to provide verification information that they are obliged to retain under these Terms & Conditions to claim any Prize.
  19. The promoter also reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  20. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  21. See's decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
  22. So far as is permitted by law, the promoter and Visa and their associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
    a) any postponement or cancellation of the competition;
    b) any changes to, supply of (including, without limitation, the Prize which does not reach the intended recipient), cancellation of, or use of the Prize; and
    c) any act or default by a Winner.
  23. The Promoter and Visa will not be held liable to any participant for any fraud committed by any third party, the performance of any contractual or other obligations of any third parties associated with the Prize nor for any events beyond its control.
  24. The promoter and Visa accept no responsibility for entries not received, not delivered, incomplete, indecipherable, or not in accordance with the entry instructions. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are delayed or that are unable to be sent due to lack of network coverage, operator error, or for any other reasons beyond its control. promoter must receive an entry for it to be valid - proof of sending entries will not constitute deemed entry.
  25. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions in any way limit the Promoter (or any other person or organisation's) liability for (i) fraud, or (ii) death or personal injury caused by its own negligence.
  26. Visa will not be responsible in any way in relation to the competition and/or the delivery or enjoyment of the Prize.
  27. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  28. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
  29. The entrants' card issuer's and any merchant's standard terms, conditions, fees and charges will apply to the use of Visa Checkout during the Promotional Period. The Promoter is not responsible for any of these terms, conditions, fees or charges.
  30. Internet service providers' fees may apply when accessing the internet.
  31. The promoter's decision is final in all matters relating to the Promotion.
  32. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to See and not to any other party.   33. See tickets also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
