More information about Everybodys Talking About Jamie tickets

  • Inspired by a true story, Everybody's Talking About Jamie is the hit musical for today.

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn't quite fit in.
Jamie is terrified about the future. He is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

Layton Williams, Melissa Jacques, Sejal Keshwala and Sabrina Sandhu are joined by EastEnders' star Rita Simons as Miss Hedge with Phil Nichol returning to play Hugo/Loco Chanelle. They lead a twenty-five strong company and a nine-piece band that will 'sweep you away on a tide of mischief, warmth and exuberance' (Financial Times).

With 'songs that have the wow factor' (The Times) by lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and 'hilarious' book and lyrics 'with delightful punch' (Whatsonstage), by writer Tom MacRae, this funny, fabulous, feel-good, musical sensation has been wowing audiences and critics alike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We’re Still Talking About Jamie! This is the second time I’ve seen this production and this time round I went to see Everybody’s Talking About Jamie as a birthday present for a friend, and it didn’t disappoint! It will make you laugh out loud, have tears steaming down your face and get up out of your seat and dance! The cast are second to none. Every single person is on point and delivers their characters persona to its fullest. The set design is amazing! Without giving too much away, the use of the screen at the back of the stage is genius, and each set change flawless. I can not recommend this enough. A must see by all! We will be seeing it again when it goes on tour. Until next time, we’ll still be talking about Jamie! Until next time; we’ll still be talking about Jamie!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best musical I’ve ever seen What a fabulous musical. It starts with a bang and never stops at break neck speed. Jamie has a wonderful voice but so does him mum. I cried when she sang My Boy. There was a very well deserved standing ovation at the end. Whatever you do beg, steal or borrow but go and see it!!
