  • A NEW MUSICAL COMEDY IS ALIVE IN THE WEST END!

Legendary filmmaker and comedian Mel Brooks brings his classic monster musical comedy Young Frankenstein to life on stage in an all-singing, all-dancing musical collaboration with Tony-award winning Broadway director and choreographer Susan Stroman.

Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced ?Fronk-en-steen') inherits a castle in Transylvania leading him to fulfill his grandfather's legacy by bringing a corpse back to life. With help and hindrance from hunchback henchman Igor, buxom assistant Inga and needy fiancee Elizabeth, his experiment yields madcap success and monstrous consequences.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was crying with laughter! I'm a massive Mel Brooks fan and so is my Dad, so this was a special treat for us. Hands down, the best musical I've seen in a long time. The comedic timing was perfect, the song-lyrics were hilarious and it was so well cast. I'm now going to see it again. Side-splitting!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't wait to get it to London from Broadway I saw it on Broadway in 2008, and it was one of those events one remembers all life! My face was numb of laughter. The performance was phenomenal! I could not wait all these years to have this show in London, and was over the moon to learn it's coming! It's a MUST to see!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Funniest Saturday afternoon I've had in ages! Booked tickets having seen the film years ago and wondered how it would translate to the stage. Was not disappointed, it was hilarious and the whole cast were spectacular, especially Lesley Joseph and Russ Noble (he must be very fit!). If you're not into the occasional double entendres and bawdy humour, don't go as there were some theatre goers when we were there who moaned all the way through it because it wasn't their thing! The show is funny, brilliant and will exercise your chuckle muscles if you go with the whirlwind that is 'Young Frankenstein'. Never been to this Theatre either, but a lovely old fashioned venue and our seats were perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, naughty, irreverent entertainment for 2 hours If you have seen the film, you will love this production. Well acted, the singing voices are superb- Ross Noble was in great form showing his wonderful comic timing. My wife was crying with laughter as she did not expect some of the turn of events. If you don't enjoy this, have someone check your pulse you may need a defibrillator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best productions we have seen Saw the film on release and on countless other occasions, I was immediately reassured the show wasn't a disappointment. Unexpectedly great performance by Ross Noble in the songs and dances, just surprised they left out the "pardon me boy is this the train to Transylvania" joke... Prompted to review when I was looking for seats to go again
