A Night In with Grace and Alastair Campbell
Grace Campbell has collected shame like a teenager on Depop collects designer clothes. Now, at 26, she's got some valuable insight into the first generation of women to grow up on the internet.
For as long as she can remember, Grace has been told that she doesn't suit her name. But being graceful is no fun anyway. Now, the comedian and feminist activist is celebrating her debut book, Amazing Disgrace, in which she explores shame about sex, shame about rejection and shame about her jealous tendencies. She's got a lot to share about being a disgrace, and how she came to be utterly, disgustingly, disgracefully proud of it.
Join Grace and her father, Alastair Campbell - that well-known guy from politics, who recently published his own honest and important book Living Better about his battle with depression - in this exclusive live stream. The two Campbell's are known for their wit and straight-talking honesty (exemplified in their hit podcast Football, Feminism and Everything In Between) and here they'll discuss growing up in a world of privilege and politics, mental health, family, and how to turn your shame into a defiant sense of self.
Young women will be inspired to feel less alone, parents will be moved to understand their daughters better, and young men will be forced to wake the f**k up in this honest, moving and life-affirming event. You do not want to miss it.
