Full Line Up: Loui Andrew George, Slow Mojo, Sister Cookie, OMYO

For March, we’ve put together a bill of some of the hottest names on everyones’ lips on the underground soul, pop, funk and R&B scenes around the Capital right now!

Headlining the show after impressing promoters Absent Kelly before is Loui Andrew George. Loui Andrew George is a Bristolian singer-songwriter, who now resides in London, and plays gospel inspired blues/pop. This signature sound has already seen him bag spots at famous London venues, including the Fiddler’s Elbow, the Underbelly and the Water Rats. Joined by his band for the evening, Loui promises to mesmerise with his signature spectacular vocal performance.

Providing support is Slow Mojo, a six piece band from London whose soulful, 12 bar blues inspired funk is already turning heads, despite them being relatively new to the scene. Expect an electrifying performance of blues for the modern era.

We’ll also be joined by Sister Cookie, a soulful rhythm and blues artist from London, who will be joined by her band for the evening. She’s performed all over the globe including London’s Jazz Cafe and Bush Hall as well as a coveted spot as part of Mark Lamarr's God's Jukebox at Latitude Festival, and we’re expecting even bigger and better things to come.

OMYO are a London based duo who have crafted an infectious and unique sound by mixing acoustic and synth-inspired urban-pop. This has seen the band play the UK festival circuit including a set at Wireless Festival, and has bagged them airplay BBC Radio 1 Xtra!
