Aretha'S Anthem With Black Voices Quintet
Jazz Cafe, Camden, London.
This event is for 18 and over - No refunds will be issued for under 18s.
Black Voices Quintet return to our stage after their spellbinding Nina Simone and Billie Holiday performances as they pay tribute to the Queen of Soul, the late great Aretha Franklin.
With a voice that was bred from gospel, blues and jazz, Franklin's work across her 50 year career was immeasurably important not just in terms of her cultural impact in 20th century America but also with the countless artists whom she inspired, who consequently helped to shape the golden age of US soul in the 50s and 60s.
Over 18's only.
From and including the 14th March 2007 the Jazz Cafe is a NO SMOKING venue.
Disabled customers can buy their tickets from any of the usual sources and
