Award winning Irish musician Ben Glover has a compellingly unique voice, powerful stories and makes great music! His influences are drawn from far and wide, from Hank Williams and Johnny Cash to the Pogues.
Originally from the sleepy seaside village of Glenarm, N. Ireland, where he started playing pub gigs at the age of 13, he has since relocated to his spiritual home of Nashville where he is in demand as a songwriter and musical collaborator. Co-writer of Gretchen Peters’ Blackbirds (International Song of the Year - UK Americana Awards 2015) and a cornerstone of the acclaimed Orphan Brigade (the award-winning Soundtrack to a Ghost Story and 2017’s highly acclaimed Heart of the Cave).
His upcoming album, Shorebound (the follow up to 2016’s stunning The Emigrant), will be released in May 2018 and features performances with Gretchen Peters, Ricky Ross, Mary Gauthier, Kim Richey and Robert Vincent.
