Like your Blues with a lot of Rhythm and your Rock with a lot of Roll?

BIG BOY BLOATER & THE LIMITS bring their much-celebrated brand of R&B with a modern twist to their favourite venue, the 100 Club, and we guarantee you a good night out with tales of swamp monsters, stalkers, betrayal, conspiracy, robot lovers + more set to an infectious beat, with world class guitar, and a vocal that has not only been compared to a cross between Tom Waits and Howlin' Wolf but has been voted as one of the ‘top 100 blues vocalists of all time' in a poll by readers of The Blues Magazine.

Bloater has worked with Imelda May, Paloma Faith and Jools Holland and his live shows garner incredible reviews from industry and fans alike.  The band were nominated in 2018’s ‘Vive Le Rock’ Magazine awards as ‘Best Roots Act’ along with Madness and The Selecter.  Latest album ‘Pills’ which was released in June 2018 had incredible reviews, and we have no doubt will appear in many ‘Best of’ lists in magazines across the country.

Tickets are just £15(+bf) in advance, or will be £20 on the door if still available.

Reviews from the last tour (Autumn 2018):

"He came, he saw and he conquered with a great song catalogue and a kick ass power trio that makes him a contender as a British institution, no pills required!"  GET READY TO ROCK
"Bloat delivers an amazing set of blues, soul and rock and roll. Full of memorable guitar riffs and with fantastic booming soulful vocals, mixed with some witty banter in between. Everyone in the room is smiling well after the set closes"NATIONAL ROCK REVIEW
"It is clear to me that this band have immense talent and are acclaimed by some big names in the industry. If they are playing a town near you, they are a must see and the new album ‘Pills’ is definitely worthy of a purchase!"SONIC SHOCKS
“…the band could have kept playing long into the night and no one would have complained.  Big Boy Bloater and the Limits describe their sound as hard hitting Rhythm and Blues with a contemporary twist and their live performance was just that; they managed to make a classic genre feel fresh and exciting.”QUENCH MAGAZINE
