For The Love Of The Game & Long Division presents
Bivouac did everything a three piece alternative rock band from Derby, who grew up on a steady diet of Husker Du, Pixies and Sonic Youth, could dream of doing in the 90s. They released a string of records on seminal indie label Elemental, recorded sessions for John Peel, played with Fugazi and The Jesus Lizard, danced on stage with Nirvana, signed to a major label and then split up.
They'd began in 1992 and were over by 1996, but in that brief period Bivouac crafted some essential, skewed and fuzzy lineage that has endured and lingered on the cult fringes of alternative rock.
Fast forward to 2018 and celebrating the 25th anniversary of 'Tuber' the band are touring, performing the album in it's entirety. Deluxe vinyl reissue with bonus Peel Sessions available to pre-order now.
Wakefield born emo pop-core featuring past and present members of Pylon, Protectors, Natterers and ODAS.
