Blenheim - Great British Garden Party
Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.
Enjoy a very British affair at Britain's Greatest Palace.
This summer discover a place where music, dance and history come together at a quintessentially British Garden Party. It's about the glorious Great Outdoors, laughing with friends and family as well as tea on the lawn as the sun goes down. Explore the Palace inside and out, linger at story time in the secret garden with Mary Poppins, bump into Bond, James Bond and later take the lead from our professional dancers as they lindy hop, jive and waltz the evening away. Perhaps walk in the footsteps of Churchill on a guided tour, play giant chess on the lawn and enjoy a glass of Champagne* whilst listening to the relaxing sound of a string quartet. Then spend lazy hours draped in a deck chair watching vintage cricket with live commentary from Henry Blofeld.
They say a little of what you fancy does you good. Unwind at the South Lawn BBQ then indulge in a cream tea, strawberries and cream, glorious Pimms and traditional ice cream.*
Each evening gather in the Great Court for a British firework finale set to the words of the greatest Briton of all time Sir Winston Churchill along with favourite classics including Land of Hope and Glory.
