Choral Stimulation are Scotland's answer to Pitch Perfect. An oxymoron at best considering Scots are not synonymous with being happy, clappy chappies - in fact their name alone suggests the irony by which they have embraced the genre of a cappella music. The witty mixed group will deconstruct the components of a cappella introducing the audience to beatboxing, close harmonies and vocal acrobatics in their own self-deprecating manor. Their set of classic pop covers has been arranged with their own artistic interpretation. They have a largely up-beat, jazzy repertoire from artists such as Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder and Fleetwood Mac, but as you can see from their online content they also like to switch things up and perform the likes of S-Club 7 in romantic minor keys!
A cappella, and Choral Stimulation in particular, are renowned for medleys so the set will feature a couple of mega mash-ups where up to 12 songs are seamlessly interlaced to keep the audience Chorally Stimulated throughout.
