BOYS FROM THE BLACK STUFF PERFORM THE SONGS OF SHANE MACGOWAN & THE POGUES
 
Leeds/Irish brothers Cronin play a special show for the Winter of 2019.
 
A show of the songs of Ireland's finest legendary songwriter of The Pogues Shane MacGowan.As well as Pogues songs the set list will feature material from Shane's other recording output with The Popes and his first band The Nips selected by the man himself Shane MacGowan. Since the Cronin brothers returned to Ireland they have been lucky enough to get to know their idol and are now Mr MacGowans go to band of choice for collaborations, recordings and live shows including last years Feis in Liverpool, appeared on the Sky Arts documentary Shane MacGowan- A Wreck Rebron and playing a big part in his 60th birthday celebration this year playing the after show party and drummer Mick appearing in the main band along with ex Pogues members. For these shows the Cronin brothers will also be by Fiachra Milner on Bass guitar, Brian Murphy on Banjo and electric guitar and former member of The Popes and London/Irish band The Biblecode Sundays Andy Nolan on accordion and whistle.
