Dreamland Variety is like unlike any other variety show - combining popular culture, nostalgic Saturday night TV gameshows and cabaret to give you the ultimate mix of guilty pleasures and great top quality performance.
Brigitte Aphrodite is going to be your host for the evening supported by an LGBTQIA+ line-up in aid of our Charity Partner, Margate Pride, and a headline DJ set from stylist and presenter Gok Wan. We encourage you to dress everything Rainbow and there will be prizes for the best dressed/worst dressed - so try hard, or don't, either way you might win! Co-hosting the evening with Brigitte will be comedian, presenter and campaigner Jack Rooke.
We've got Amy Zing co-director of Sink The Pink opening up with a DJ set, followed by Margate's very own Pink Suits doing a dance rendition of the famous Dirty Dancing hit "I've Had The Time Of My Life", drag king extraordinaire Benjamin Butch, drag queen and winner of Sink The Pink Prom Grace Shush lip-syncing to The Greatest Showman hit "This is Me", amazing singer/songwriter Marie White will be bringing her soulful voice to the stage, plus music from Lunatraktors. Also expect roaming stilt-walkers dressed in Rainbow outfits followed by Margate's Social Singing Choir will be our resident group, singing their way in to the show and singing their way out with an ultimate mass karaoke!
Gok Wan will be DJing from 10pm-11pm - so get your ticket and come on down!
Each Dreamland Variety will be sponsored by London blow dry and beauty bar, Blush & Boho.
