For over a decade, US reggae innovators Easy Star All-Stars have brought reggae to the masses by releasing a highly successful series of tribute albums. The release of Dub Side of the Moon in 2003, a reggae re-invention of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, put Easy Star All-Stars on the map. The success of that album led to an ever-growing demand from fans to see the band live. That was followed up by Radiodread (2006), the band’s version of Radiohead’s OK Computer and 2009’s Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band. In 2012 Easy Star All-Stars will release their next (top secret!) tribute album to take the music world by storm again. They’ll be playing tracks from the new album plus live favourites from their previous albums on their UK dates this Autumn.
