Cally Beaton: Invisible
A laugh-laden, unflinching look at the business of being an adult. Cally (as seen on QI) nearly died in Iceland (country, not shop) and here, she relives that journey into snow-capped desolation. Does she have the stomach for radical reinvention? She won’t go gentle into that good night. She might go mental – but never gentle.
Alex Fox: Rosanna
“Mrs Richardson, you’re trying to seduce me. Aren’t you?”
In 2011, Alexander Fox left school and went to music college, where he began an illicit affair with his drum teacher, Mrs Richardson. Their lives became intertwined, then increasingly dark and dangerous, as Alexander learned a few more lessons up at college than he’d anticipated.
Following his ambitious cult-status debut ‘Ringo’, comedian and drummer Alexander Fox brings his long-awaited second show to the Festival. Set in a recording studio, with the action taking place around a live electronic drum kit, Whiplash meets The Graduate in this drumming comedy experience, from the mind of one of the UK’s most adventurous and innovative new talents. ‘
