Masterclass: 12:45pm to 1:30pm – the World of Naturally Natural Wines.  Presented by specialist importer and retailer WoodWinters, taste some of the very top examples from the fast growing and fascinating category of ?natural wines'. Taking the wine world by storm in the past few years, these organic wines are fermented with wild yeasts and made without any additions and minimal sulphur - very unlike the world's more commercial wines. We'll look at what makes them special, and you can decide for yourself just how good they are. You must hold a Festival admission ticket to attend any masterclass.

Masterclass: 2:15pm to 3:00pm – Marlborough Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Terroir.  Presented by Tom Cannavan following his visit to the Saint Clair estate in Marlborough, New Zealand, earlier this year, we'll look at the two great grapes of the region, with vertical tastings of Saint Clair's top wines. Tom will introduce the wines and explain what makes them special, and the tutored tasting will demonstrate Saint Clair's unique terroirs, but also how well these wines age, comparing current wines in the market with vintages flown over from New Zealand. You must hold a Festival admission ticket to attend any masterclass.

Masterclass: 3:45pm to 4:30pm - Noble Rieslings: fabulous sweet wines.  With Kevin Courtney of Riverby Estate in New Zealand, a rare opportunity to taste some of the country's best Botrytis-affected and Late-Harvest Riesling wines. Kevin has generously supplied multiple vintages of these expensive and rare wines, and having managed the family estate for decades, will explain exactly how they are produced. Having presented a dry Riesling masterclass for us in 2017, it's a real treat to welcome back one of our most popular speakers. You must hold a Festival admission ticket to attend any masterclass.
