Grace Petrie is a folk singer, songwriter and activist from Leicester whose unique takes on life, love and politics - and the warmth and wit with which they are delivered - have won over audiences across the alternative, folk, political and comedy scenes.
She has supported Emmy the Great and Billy Bragg and collaborated with some of the most respected names in folk, including Peggy Seeger and Leon Rosselson, and regularly performs with Coven, Lady Maisery and O'Hooley & Tidow. Grace Petrie has also made her mark on the comedy scene, supporting Robin Ince and Josie Long and performing at Glastonbury four times, not bad for a singer making her debut seven years ago with the emotive song 'Farewell to Welfare.'
