A great night is planned with two exciting fresh bands
Greg Coulson is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and gifted performer. An accomplished Pianist and Hammond player he is also a gifted guitarist and singer/songwriter specialising in Rhythm & Blues. 2010 saw the break Greg had been looking for, at the age of 19 he joined the legendary two- tone band The Selecter. Known as a Hammond player, and not just a keyboard player, Greg toured with The Selecter and made over 400 appearances worldwide. Gigs include: Coachella, Riot Fest, Ink and Iron (USA), Isle of Wight Festival (UK) in addition to touring Europe, Scandinavia, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Greg’s heart has always been true to Rhythm & Blues and his own song writing. He has managed to tour the UK with his own band, taking his own brand of high octane, fun and musically ingenious Blues to loyal audiences throughout the UK – Greg’s main aim to make Blues accessible for the next generation of music lovers.
Tom C Walker
In November 2014 Tom travelled to Austin Texas to play a string of shows over in the USA. Jamming with local blues players, as well as playing to packed out venues raising his profile internationally.
Seven years with the Tom Walker Trio found them headlining the most prestigious venues in the UK including Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, 100 Club London, The Borderline London, Eailing Blues Club, The Birmingham Town Hall, The Birmingham Symphony hall and a residency at Jools Holland's The Jam House.
The trio toured with some of the most influential acts of the past 60 years, including The Moody Blues John Lodge, Paul Jones (Manfred Man, The Blues Band, BBC Radio 2) and The Move. As well as American blues artists including Eric Gales and Devon Alman.
