Legendary bandleader JAMES LAST and his Orchestra, have become the most famous and highest selling orchestra in modern music, both in record sales and ticket sales.
James Last sold over 200 million albums of his music worldwide - second only to Elvis Presley.
The vast range of music included his new arrangements of 'Classics Up To Date' through 'Big Band Swing' to popular 'Hoe-Downs' and the popular music of the 60's 70's and 80's.
The JAMES LAST CELEBRATION TRIBUTE ORCHESTRA are touring the world passionately continuing and recreating that legacy with an amazing selection of his best known music in this JAMES LAST GALA CELEBRATION CONCERT. In this concert theatre show, the 2 hour performance (with interval) will feature hit songs and classic soundtracks from JAMES LAST 'WORLD OF MUSIC' legacy including STAR WARS * GAMES THAT LOVERS PLAY * IN THE MOOD * AMERICAN PATROL * SPANISH FLEA * HAPPY HEART * BERMUDA TRIANGLE * POLKA PARTY * VIENNA WOODS * TITANIC * ELIZABETHAN SERENADE to mention but a few.
The JAMES LAST CELEBRATION TRIBUTE ORCHESTRA is directed by British music arranger/conductor Greg Francis who worked as an arranger and conductor for the BBC Radio Orchestras and the North German Radio Orchestras in Hamburg and Hannover. Greg worked alongside many of James Last's musicians in the studio orchestras in Germany, and he also attended several of James Last's concerts and private parties in Germany, as a guest of the 'Maestro' himself.
