Showcasing new talent at Dingwalls!

MILKSHED.
Working out of a disused milking parlour in the depths of south-west England, the three have been busily honing a powerful style.
Influenced by Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age and The White Stripes, their enigmatic sound blends elements of 90s grunge and garage rock with pop songwriting sensibilities to create a fresh take on modern guitar music.
Their debut single “Apex Predator” is a bold statement of intent. Entirely self-produced from recording to mix, the track encapsulates the band’s raw energy and sets the bar for the catalogue that is to follow.
Their second release, “Burning Bridges” caught the attention of Grammy-winning producer/mixer Adrian Bushby on social media, who worked with the band to complete their debut EP, out now.
With Glastonbury festival as their debut performance and a string of headline shows already under their belt, milkshed. have established themselves as a captivating live act not to be missed.
“mlikshed. just have this raw anthem feel to them” – Kerrie Cosh, BBC Introducing

RALPH TAYLOR
Ralph Taylor has been crafting his art as a songwriter, producer and artist throughout the course of his 25 years. Gathering a name for himself on the UK grassroots live scene, he has performed sets at major festivals around the UK/Europe and supported the likes of Franc Moody and Will And The People. After spending 7 years in London, he recently returned to his home county on the East Coast of England and rediscovered a love for a slightly slower paced life and quieter existence. In this time he has found inspiration through reconnecting to his childhood romance with contemporary folk music and more acoustic based singer/songwriters. Following the critical success of his recent EP, Strange Land and his music video for Caught In A Moment reaching 1million views on YouTube, the momentum behind Ralph’s music is certainly on the up and his next string of releases are well underway.

BARSTAFF
Your alternative score to EA FC24, BARSTAFF are the soundtrack to your next hangover. With their appealing experimental indie sounds and sticky dancefloor energy, BARSTAFF have been pouring pints and penning pop songs since 2022. With the release of new music on the horizon, as well as festival and headline slots, 2024 is shaping up to be a busy year for BARSTAFF.

FINCHES
With their unapologetic attitude and irreverent sense of humour, Finches are a band that you cannot ignore for much longer. Finches have re-discovered the ear popping guitar driven garage rock sound that first helped them fall in love with music and with each other. Playing and writing together seem’s to be the only way they avoid constantly bickering and knocking each others heads off. No longer recording out of a bedroom, Finches have now been able to fully capture their energetic personalties with the sound of their full band set up, recorded in expert chaotic fashion by Gordon Raphael, producer of The Strokes. Finches have been featured by Notion, Fred Perry Subculture and supported by NME, Dummy, Wordplay and BBC Radio 1. Hero Magazine named them as one of ‘Four UK bands you should probably pay attention too’. Their previous single ‘Ooooo’ was heavily supported by the BBC Introducing team, being named their Tune Of The Week as well as being featured on Made In Chelsea.

JUNO
Juno are an indie/alternative band, formed in Hampshire, currently based in Liverpool, UK. The band consists of Max Mullen (vocals), Ben Coles (guitar), George Vinall (guitar), Tom Greathead (bass) and Will Clawson (drums).
As heard on BBC Radio 1 (Nels Hylton), BBC Radio 6 (Steve Lamacq and Amy Lamé) and Radio X (John Kennedy).
‘The Liverpool-based recall the feral stomp of shame in places, but there’s also room for the sighing melodies of DIIV’ – Clash Magazine

MONTICOLOMBI
“His RnB-infused raps over soulful grooves carve a gorgeous style into storylines of modern society”. Monticolombi is inspired by his smooth-talking, suave-striding and incredibly generous grandfather, Carlo Monticolombi, whose positive effect on the world is reflected in the Monticolombi narrative. Primarily known as front man of collective Stretch Soul Gang, he’s already accumulated a range of successes under his belt including supporting the likes of Jam Baxter, The Brand New Heavies, Norman Jay (M.B.E) & Calibro 35 having played stages such as the 02 arena Greenwich, BoomTown & Under The Bridge.
