Following on the heels of 2015's captivating debut ?Inflamed Rides?, and 2017's absorbing follow-up "Soul of an Octopus", the members of the powerful collective O.R.k. - (lead singer Lef, former Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin, Marta Sui Tubi guitarist Carmelo Pipitone and King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto ) - are primed to deliver an even more potent statement for their sophomore offering. Coming after intense bouts of live activity with dates across Europe and South America, a newly focussed O.R.k. is charged to take things up a notch.
In early 2018, having played the "Inflamed Rides" and "Soul of an Octopus" material to diverse audiences across Europe, and firmly disproving those who saw the band as some self indulgent one-off spare time studio project, the four members were newly energized to continue exploring their highly addictive musical chemistry, immediately commenced work on album number three.
All the pieces from the forthcoming third album represent an honest and effective picture of where O.R.k. is right now, a product of the band's collective mutual vision, unique influences and a multi layered reflection of the powerful and engaging live experience.
