After a short and sunny summer-break filled with the best of what the UK festival scene has to offer, we’re back at Notting Hill Art’s Club again ready to deliver yet another smashing line-up of new music to get you past your post-holiday blues!

Ferris & Sylvester
This London-based folk duo, made up of Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester, encapsulates the mid-60’s sounds of Greenwich Village, whilst adding rich blues and soul tone to the mix. Following the release of their ‘Made in Streatham’ EP earlier this year, the pair have had an intense year filled of touring, including a slot at Eric Clapton’s BST Hyde Park headline show and supporting artists like George Ezra and Justin Nozuka

Fresh out of high-school, 17-year old Bülow is not wasting any time as she proceeds to conquer the world with her electronic infused pop and catchy hooks, with lyrics that dwell upon subjects like drug use, school life, and the power one can find in being dumped. A true pop-star on the rise.

New on the scene, this two-piece hailing from Dundee, Scotland has started to make a name for themselves by producing their own unique electronic pop sound composed of poetic vocals and jazz influenced guitar layered with dark undertones.

Dave C. Rupert
Clash Music did not hold back on the praises when they recently reviewed Rupert’s EP ‘Taunt’, calling the singer songwriter ‘one of Manchester's best kept secrets’ known for his ‘heavenly songwriting’ – a description we at Communion fully support. If beautiful harmonies, jagged indie rock and personal lyrics are your thing, then you must not miss this set.

With her clever lyricism, raw maturity and laidback pop with folky undertones, LAKY, previously known as Kyla Stroud, is sure to charm you. Taking inspiration from eclectic 70s and 80s music, including classics like Earth Wind and Fire, Joni Mitchell and even Dolly Parton, as well as more current names such as Jade Bird, Christine and The Queens and John Mayer, LAKY has created her very own sound and is about to explode on the scene. Keep your eyes peeled!

JC Stewart
Having already been championed by our very own Maz Tappuni on Radio X, this Northern Irish pop-phenomenon is set out for greatness with his latest single, ‘Medicine’ being a testament to that fact. Make sure to get down early to not miss out on Stewarts captivating vocals, gentle piano and grand choruses.
