RAT BOY ANNOUNCES THE DUMB & CONFUSED TOUR, INCLUDES FOUR THEMED SHOWS IN EACH CORNER OF LONDON // NEW MUSIC COMING LATER THIS SUMMER
“Cardy is the anarchic voice of his generation.” – Evening Standard
“Cardy emerges as a born chronicler, with an eagle eye, a rabbit ear and a genius for killer choruses.” – The Sunday Times
“A cheeky Brexit generation mash-up of Blur and The Beastie Boys.” – Louder Than War
“A joyous mash-up of cheap beats, precinct-loitering aggro punk and youthful vim.” – Mojo
Set to drop new music later this summer, RAT BOY and his band will hit the road with their riotous live show this November with The Dumb & Confused Tour. Opening at Nottingham Rock City, the tour will culminate with three special themed shows in each corner of London:
November 16th – West London, Bush Hall – playing tracks from the present and future.
November 17th – South London, Electric Brixton – playing the ‘SCUM’ album in full.
November 18th – North London, Electric Ballroom – The setlist will be decided by a special fan vote via RAT BOY’s socials. Pick your favourite track: it could be a deep cut, a lost b-side or a cover of your choice.
Fronted by 22-year-old Jordan Cardy, RAT BOY emerged as a hot tip when he won Best New Artist at the NME Awards and was nominated for the BBC Sound poll. His debut album ‘SCUM’ earned widespread critical acclaim and hit the Top 20 when it was released last summer. He commenced 2018 by dropping the seven-track ‘CIVIL DISORDER’, a ferocious cocktail of contemporary hip-hop, 70s British punk and 80s American hardcore.
A whirlwind of energy, RAT BOY’s live shows often receive such a frenzied reaction that Cardy has to pause to appeal for calm. His biggest headline to date saw him hit London’s Roundhouse and he has also toured with Liam Gallagher and The 1975.
Don’t forget, ticket holders can receive 10% off food for their table at our neighbourhood restaurant, Bush Hall Dining Rooms, two doors down from the venue. Please call 0208 749 0731 to reserve a table/ email email@example.com, or just turn up and they will do their best to find you a spot.
