We're paying homage to the genius of one of the most eminent blues artists in history: Howlin' Wolf.

Ranked in Rolling Stone's 100 greatest artists of all time, Howlin Wolf's imprint on music is undeniable. His songs "Smokestack Lightnin'", "Killing Floor" and "Spoonful", have become blues and blues rock standards, a testament to his brilliance.

Originally born in Mississippi he realised his passion watching the Delta blues masters of the 1930's, most notably Charley Patton. After being scouted by Ike Turner, for his energetic live shows, he started to release a string of singles. This resulted in signing to the legendary Chess Records where he perfected his signature Chicago blues sound.

For one night only, a group of London's finest blues musicians will be re-creating the magic of the blues with a live performance of his best work. From 'Smokestack Lightnin' to 'Spoonfull', expect a journey through the classic blues tunes which have made his name.
