For over 70 years, there have been a number of super heroines that have become international household names. But few are as iconic as the character of Lara Croft, who in 1996 took the world by storm in a new 3D action/adventure game called Tomb Raider. The scale and speed of the success was extraordinary and to date Tomb Raider games have sold in excess of 63 million copies worldwide. Not only has Lara Croft become universally recognised, but also the music. Composed by Nathan McCree, the music from the original Tomb Raider game is widely considered to have one of the finest and most famous theme tunes ever written for a game.

In this extremely special concert, the music and the game will be celebrated with a performance of The Tomb Raider Suite, written by the composer and based on his original compositions from Tomb Raider (1996), Tomb Raider II, and Tomb Raider III. . It featuresthe iconic music that helped shape and create Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider franchise. It will be performed by a full orchestra and choir along with visual clips from the original games.
