Transmission The Sound Of Joy Division

Devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig, Transmission emulate the sound of one of the most inventive, evocative and influential groups of their era. Joy Division were formed in the late 1970's and dissolved in May 1980 after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. The remaining members went on to form New Order achieving both critical and commercial success. Over 40 years later you can relive the dark cavernous sound that remains as fresh and relevant as ever through Transmission. Join us in commemorating the life of Ian Curtis in the week of the 41st anniversary of his untimely death, whilst celebrating the brilliance of the body of work he left as his legacy.
