Head to Wakehurst for a magical winter lantern trail. Watch the trees, ponds and forest floors come to life at night with luminous lanterns, spellbinding projections, evocative soundscapes, and dazzling torches of fire.
This year, the trail reflects on the smallest things which make the biggest impact. A grain of pollen, a fungus spore, a seed on the wind; our immersive walk through nature shines a spotlight on the hidden heroes of the plant and fungal world.
Highlights include: OGE Group with their award-winning 'Light a Wish' installation, sculptor Sarah Hall-Baqai with her fantastical fungi-lanterns, and The Colour Project with their mesmerising projections of fungi secrets and majestic owls.

Choose from twelve time slots at 20-minute intervals between 4.30pm – 8.10pm. Gardens close 10pm.
A limited number of ‘quiet session’ tickets are available on select Thursdays. These are suitable for visitors with disabilities, such as autism, to make for a more comfortable visit, offering access before the general public.
