IRON MAIDEN have announced the rescheduling of the international tour "Legacy of the Beast", with the concert in Portugal, at Estádio Nacional, in Oeiras, to be held on July 31, 2022.

Special guests Within Temptation and support band Airbourne are confirmed for this new date. In a statement, the band explains the decision: "we regret to announce that the June and July dates of the IRON MAIDEN - Legacy of the Beast Tour 2021 have been postponed due to the continued renewal of restrictions, imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, on live shows and travel. The Legacy of the Beast European tour concerts will now take place in summer 2022 on the dates listed below. Tickets already purchased remain valid for these new dates."

Manager, Rod Smallwood, reinforces the band's statement, sharing his dismay: "IRON MAIDEN are of course extremely disappointed, as this is already the second summer that they cannot go on the road and perform this special Legacy of the Beast show, which is very hard to accept. They know that the fans feel the same way and it is to them that their hope goes. As we all know there is no alternative, so we will do our best and spend this interregnum preparing for a memorable and even more spectacular Legacy tour. That is our promise! Until then, stay safe".
