FAQs - Pop Up Cinema at Peak Cavern
Important Information about COVID-19
The safety of our staff and customers is always our number one priority and we have put a detailed plan together to ensure that all health & safety aspects of these events are properly managed. We will be adhering to government guidance relating to Covid-19 and are planning these as socially distanced events. We also ask that you do not attend the event if you are displaying symptoms of coronavirus, if someone within your household is displaying symptoms or if you have been asked to self-isolate. If restrictions change nearer the time, we will review our events and make changes as necessary. We will give customers a final update two weeks before the events take place.
These events will be socially distanced events. We have reduced the capacity of these events and have put a seating plan together to ensure that attendees are seated in socially distanced bubbles. Attendees will be able to sit in groups no larger than six people and will be seated with the people that they have booked their tickets with. Whilst we will try our best to seat groups of friends close together, we cannot guarantee that several parties who have booked independently will be able to sit together. Attendees will be required to wear face masks when moving around the event space and whilst seated for the film, apart from when eating or drinking. We also understand that some people (including children) are exempt from wearing masks. with rules constantly being reviewed masks may not be compulsory or may indeed be enforced, but we will keep you as updated as possible.
There will be street food vendors set up in the car park and the screening will take place inside the cave. The food vendors will be spaced out in the car park area and will be takeaway only. Once seated, audiences will be able to order drinks and snacks to their seats via an app. The Peak Cavern is a huge open cave, so naturally has great ventilation. We will also frequently sanitise the temporary toilets and ensure that there are multiple handwashing facilities on site.
If we have to cancel the events due to COVID-19, we will notify attendees as soon as possible and refund customers their ticket money at face value. Face value is the cost of the ticket, excluding the booking fee. We will continually update our COVID-19 safety plan in line with the latest advice from the government, and we will send all attendees a final update before the events. If you have any queries regarding the health and safety of this event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Please keep in mind that attendees will be seated with those that they have booked their tickets with. Seating is first-come-first-served, but there will be enough seating for everyone. We recommend bringing blankets and cushions with you to reserve your seats.
Will you be serving food and drink? There will be street food vendors set up in the car park area (approx. 200 meters from the cave) who will be offering a takeaway service. What if it is raining? The Peak Cavern does have a roof, however, it can become a little drippy inside if it has been raining heavily in the days leading up to the event. There is also a small river that flows through the lower section of the cave which can become noisy if it has been raining heavily. If this happens, our technicians will assess the situation and take reasonable measures to ensure that the sound quality is not significantly compromised.
