On Saturday 19th June, we'll be transforming one of the UK's most spectacular show caves - Peak Cavern - into a unique cinema experience, with a screening of comedy war drama - JoJo Rabbit!

Due to COVID-19, we have created a new socially-distanced seating plan. This means that you can only purchase tickets in groups of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Please note that there are a limited amount of group sizes available. You can find out what group sizes are available for each film on the ticket booking pages below.
Audiences can enjoy delicious street food options and a drinks and snacks delivery service to their seats. There will also be DJ entertainment inside the cave and epic decor. Audiences will be able to enjoy the breath taking natural amphitheatre of the cave entrance and learn about the cave's history, which is usually only possible by doing a tour of the Peak Cavern.

Audiences can expect a phenomenal, well organised, and safe experience and will be able to purchase tickets in groups of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. This is to ensure that groups attending are sat socially distanced from other groups during the film screening.

This event will be socially distant and COVID-secure. For more information, please read our FAQ section at the bottom of this page.

Please note: a 10% resale fee will be added to this order.

Important Information about COVID-19
The safety of our staff and customers is always our number one priority and we have put a detailed plan together to ensure that all health & safety aspects of these events are properly managed. We will be adhering to government guidance relating to Covid-19 and are planning these as socially distanced events. We also ask that you do not attend the event if you are displaying symptoms of coronavirus, if someone within your household is displaying symptoms or if you have been asked to self-isolate. If restrictions change nearer the time, we will review our events and make changes as necessary. We will give customers a final update two weeks before the events take place.

These events will be socially distanced events. We have reduced the capacity of these events and have put a seating plan together to ensure that attendees are seated in socially distanced bubbles. Attendees will be able to sit in groups no larger than six people and will be seated with the people that they have booked their tickets with. Whilst we will try our best to seat groups of friends close together, we cannot guarantee that several parties who have booked independently will be able to sit together. Attendees will be required to wear face masks when moving around the event space and whilst seated for the film, apart from when eating or drinking. We also understand that some people (including children) are exempt from wearing masks. with rules constantly being reviewed masks may not be compulsory or may indeed be enforced, but we will keep you as updated as possible.

There will be street food vendors set up in the car park and the screening will take place inside the cave. The food vendors will be spaced out in the car park area and will be takeaway only. Once seated, audiences will be able to order drinks and snacks to their seats via an app. The Peak Cavern is a huge open cave, so naturally has great ventilation. We will also frequently sanitise the temporary toilets and ensure that there are multiple handwashing facilities on site.

If we have to cancel the events due to COVID-19, we will notify attendees as soon as possible and refund customers their ticket money at face value. Face value is the cost of the ticket, excluding the booking fee. We will continually update our COVID-19 safety plan in line with the latest advice from the government, and we will send all attendees a final update before the events. If you have any queries regarding the health and safety of this event, please email us at hello@thevillagescreen.com

Will I be allocated seating? The safety of our staff and customers is our priority and nothing had challenged us more in recent times than our desire to exceed the current COVID-19 safety guidelines. In consultation with our industry bodies, licencing authorities, government guidelines and our independent Health and Safety experts, we have put a seating plan together to ensure that customers are seated in socially distanced bubbles, with separation between groups exceeding 1m+, in all cases at a minimum of 1.2m. Please keep in mind that attendees will be seated with those that they have booked their tickets with. Seating is first-come-first-served, but there will be enough seating for everyone. We recommend bringing blankets and cushions with you to reserve your seats.

Will you be serving food and drink? There will be street food vendors set up in the car park area (approx. 200 meters from the cave) who will be offering a takeaway service. There will be a bar inside the cave which will be table service only. Attendees can use an app to order drinks and snacks which our staff will deliver to your seats. Please remember that you are unable to bring your own food and drink into the event. We will be operating Challenge 25 so please remember to bring photographic identification to buy alcohol if you look or are under 25.

Can I pay by card? For health and safety purposes, this event is card only.

Is there a minimum age for this event? Most of these events are suitable for the entire family, however age restrictions do apply for some films. Please check this information on the booking page of each event before purchasing tickets. We will be conducting ID checks on arrival so please ensure that everyone in your group brings suitable identification with them if they look under the certified age for your chosen film.

Is the event indoors? Technically no, but yes! The Peak Cavern is a vast cave entrance which provides shelter from the elements, but it is fully open at the front, providing fresh air flow and protection from the rain. Can I smoke at the venue? No, smoking is prohibited inside the cave. You will need to leave the event in order to smoke.

What if it is raining? The Peak Cavern does have a roof, however, it can become a little drippy inside if it has been raining heavily in the days leading up to the event. There is also a small river that flows through the lower section of the cave which can become noisy if it has been raining heavily. If this happens, our technicians will assess the situation and take reasonable measures to ensure that the sound quality is not significantly compromised.

I have a carer, can my carer attend the event with me? Yes, please email us at hello@thevillagescreen.com if you need your carer to attend the event with you. We will arrange for your carer to have a free seat at the event.

Will you refund my ticket purchase? We do not offer refunds on ticket purchases. If we have to cancel the event due to COVID-19, we will refund your ticket at face value.

What if I'm unable to attend the event? Attendees can choose to opt for ticket protection from TicketPlan when purchasing tickets through our booking agent, See Tickets. TicketPlan state that if a ticket buyer is unable to attend the event due to unforeseen circumstances or illness, they will consider these applications for a refund. You can find more information on See Tickets website via www.seetickets.com/Content/Ticketplan-Terms

Will there be toilet facilities? Yes, there will be toilet facilities at the event.

Can I talk during the screening? We politely ask attendees not to talk during the screening and not to disturb other guests. We reserve the right to remove guests from the screening room who continually disturb others.
