The show is produced by Stage Entertainment and directed by Phyllida Lloyd, the director of the hugely successful Mamma Mia stage show. The show was created through collaboration with Tina Turner herself, providing a hit-filled chronicle of her rock n roll lifestyle.

A Tribute to One of the Best-Selling Artists of All Time

The run of TINA - The Tina Turner Musical has been extended until January 2020 due to the success and popularity of the show at the iconic Aldwych Theatre in the heart of London's West End. Tina Turner herself insists that this show is a chance to share [her] full story and the journey she took to reach her stardom from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee. As a result, the musical plots the trials and tribulations of Tina's early personal life, as well as the highs and lows of her professional singing career, incorporating many of the songs you know and love to create a true sing-a-long atmosphere.

Tina Turner quickly rose to fame with her early hits such as A Fool in Love and River Deep Mountain High. The show also documents the rebuilding of her career in the 1980s, following the end of a difficult, high-profile marriage.
