“An energetic cast in a magical setting.”  – Broadway World

As twilight falls on the beautiful surroundings of Kew Gardens, you’re invited to enjoy a tale of passion and revenge and laughter. Better yet, all this is accompanied by a live band and a gorgeous, 1930s jazz score. What could be more enchanting?

While the lovesick Duke Orsino pines for the beautiful Countess Olivia, a young woman named Viola is shipwrecked in Illyria. Between the three, a tangled love-triangle emerges. Throw a raucous trio, the riotous Sir Toby Belch and ridiculous case of mistaken identity and watch as the midsummer madness unfolds.

Brought into a 1930’s setting, Shakespeare’s bittersweet comedy Twelfth Night offers the perfect excuse for a picnic with friends set against the beautiful backdrop of Kew Gardens. Pack your picnic, blankets, and chairs. Audience members are encouraged to relax, laugh, and sway their way through one of Shakespeare’s most loved comedies.
