Skids unplugged
Skids - Big Country - Armoury Show best of unplugged. 2 guitars and one vocalist very refreshing and well impressed. Jobsons recollection of his childhood and the history of the Skids was very interesting up until the point he thought he was on a political soap box and ruined the evening with childish songs against Conservatives and numerous quotes against Royalty and Loyalists in Northern Ireland. Just play your music and shut it over politics.

My night with Richard Jobson
I went to this event with my brother, it far exceeded our expectations, Richard and his band were exceptional, his tales and stories kept us amused and enthralled and the music was as ever phenomenal
10/10
Shame about the mix up over the gig date from See Tickets which was a tad unprofessional, however this did not spoil what was a fantastic evening

RJ as you've never seen him before!
Great, intimate evening with an inspirational singer/songwriter of one of my favourite bands ever, Scotlands finest! Really enjoyed the mix of stories which were amusing, moving and from the heart, mixed with a great selection of sings from The Skids great back catalogue, accompanied by the excellent Bruce & Jamie Watson of Big Country!

Rolling back the years
The Skids were the first band I ever saw and 14 year old me was back there, this time enthralled by the acoustic and stunning a capella voice of Richard Jobson and the perfect Big Country backing.
The stories were honest, funny and moving and RJ dealt so well with an increasingly disruptive and annoying audience member.
Highly recommended, I'd go every night if I could.

Songs, story telling and much much more
We sat in the lovely Tivoli theatre in Aberdeen waiting for the show to begin when suddenly Bruce and Jamie arrived on stage and blasted through a few songs to get us warmed up before Mr Jobson arrived on stage, he warned us that there would be a lot of talking during the show and he did not let us down with stories and anecdotes about the skids and other bands over the years, taking questions from the audience can always be difficult but with a couple of great questions Mr Jobson went to great lengths to answer in detail and drifted off into other areas before bringing it back to conclude his answer. The story telling was split up with some great stripped down versions of some of their favorite songs and concluded in great fashion with a crowed pleasing classic and they left the stage to a standing ovation.
Well worth the ticket price and Mr Jobson was supported very well by Bruce and Jamie who got us to some jokery behind his back and their guitars played to perfection as ever.
Great night, great music, great story's and great guys.
