More Information about Chicago

Sassy, sexy and filled with Razzle Dazzle, and promises an evening you'll love. Chicago is officially back home in London's West End and is now starring Martin Kemp, from pop legends Spandau Ballet and BBC's Eastenders, as Billy Flynn until 1 September and Alexandra Burke will join the cast, playing Roxie Hart from Monday 13 August through to Saturday 14 October 2018. Winner of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy, the sexiest, sassiest, most sophisticated Broadway musical in history is celebrating 21 years of standing ovations in style. The dazzling tale of jazz slayer Roxie Hart, her cell-block rival Velma Kelly and the smooth-talking lawyer Billy Flynn has thrilled audiences across the world since 1996. With the original Broadway choreography by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse and a sizzling score featuring the classic songs "Razzle Dazzle", "Cell Block Tango" and "All That Jazz", Chicago is so good it should be illegal. Chicago is playing at the Phoenix Theatre until 5 January 2019. Book now, it'd be a crime to miss it?

What people are saying about Chicago

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chicago at The Phoenix Great show but tickets had not arrived at the Box Office! Fortunately supportive staff at the theatre sorted it out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All that..Jazzzz! The show it self was fantastic. Bought the tickets for my other half, birthday treat, and it didn’t disappoint! I must admit, musicals are not normally my idea of fun, but this changed my mind. If anybody is in doubt of going to see, take it from personally experience, it is a must see! A highlight of the venue is that due to availability we were moved to the stalls with no extra charge down from the upper circle. Due to it being a maternay time it wasn’t completely full regardless, so it was nice to the see the venue using some initiative which made the experience a little more perfect! However, I will also comment on the pricing for drinks within any venue, even with it being London, they are extortionate. Take your own! Also, I have always bought tickets through See Tickets. Trustworthy and reliable. Due to an issue they were not sent, however, the communication then sent to advise if this was clear, concise and kept me informed up to the time of the show!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally LOVE this show! Took my wife to this as it is her (and my) favourite musical. Booked before the cast was announced, so delighted that Cuba Gooding Jr and Ruthie Hensall were in the line-up. Ruthie was AMAZING as always. We enjoyed seeing Cuba, but given we went on 23rd April - about 4 weeks into the run - I do not think he’ll make it to 30th June without a break. Sad to say Cuba’s throat was already suffering from the nightly battering on stage and was giving out during his songs. Nonetheless this was and remains a fantastic show. Definitely go if you can get a ticket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic experience I went to the show with my daughter for her birthday. Chicago is innovative with the orchestra on stage, very clever choreography and some Incredible voices. Cuba Gooding Jr was brilliant as Billy Flynn and I especially liked the way it was all put together like a raunchy pantomime.
