China Crisis are without doubt one of the most underestimated bands in musical history. Thank you lads for a great Saturday.

Each time they made everyone feel welcome and performed their wonderful songs superbly. Gary’s banter with the crowd is a constant feature and adds to the experience. It is great to hear the stories behind the band and the songs too. Another night to remember.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My name is DW from A night with CHINA CRISIS Can't begin to say how much I loved this gig. Both Gary and Ed were on absolute top form...even though Ed was full of cold. The banter and comedy was another added bonus as Gary just told story after story about the 80's another pop stars of the time. The band were brilliant and most definately best gig of the year for me and can't wait to see them again. China Crisis....whst more can I say...snd to finish with Christian...a tear to my eye says it all. Thank you Gary and Ed...and to top it off...got a signed poster...which I took off the a frame outside....which Gary liked .

Rated 3 out of 5 by andyeco from A game of two halves! Eighties veterans China Crisis’ long awaited appearance in Nottingham is a strangely mixed bag. An opening 55 minute set is punctuated with rambling, reminiscing stories from front-man Gary Daly. Some of them are interesting and charming but his persistent swearing becomes tiresome and gratuitous. Songs new and old appear slight and somewhat twee, with none of the familiar hits included. Then following a 15 minute break they come back with a bang. It’s one glorious hit after another and they discover momentum and energy and the audience love it. Sadly this section is over in 45 mins and it’s a ridiculous 10 pm Saturday night curfew, for, ironically, an Eighties disco!

Gary, the lead singer, could have done a stand up comedy night his patter was so good, had everyone in stitches. Musically the sound was crisp and all the favorite songs were played as well as new material.These guys are so professional, the music is beautiful and a really intimate and friendly evening. Eddie was happy to chat outside to fans and is a genuine nice bloke. loved it and will see them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Supatim from China Crisis at Esquires Bedford The boys were on fire thursday night. gary's stories of when they were starting out and sharing hotels with the likes of soft cell and OMD were hillarious. After the gig the boys did a meet and greet and gary signed my bundle of CD goodies. Im hoping they come back to "Posh" Bedford as gary called it, and give us another great night of classic hits.
