What people are saying about For Those About To Rock

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good band, terrible venue. Place was packed out so bad people were arguing for space. Too many tickets allocated for this event Bar staff clueless, bar closed at 10 to get everyone out to turn it to a nightclub. Will not be going back

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Livewire & Limehouse Lizzy @the riverside Absolutely rammed. small venue but well over the top. Limehouse Lizzy never fail to deliver. Live wire started well but seemed more interested in looking the part than sounding it. Just my opinion the rest of the crowd seemed to like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How full can that place get? Never seen Limehouse Lizzy before and was pleasantly surprised as they were really good. Live Wire, as usual, were great and thought the new "Brian" did a cracking job. However what spoilt the night slightly was the amount of people crammed into the venue. The bar was only 10 feet away from where we were standing but it was a proper ball ache just getting drinks, so just didn't bother.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bands Great - but venue too small Went to the gig with 10 friends to celebrate my wife`s birthday. We had previously seen both bands on separate occasions at the Newcastle O2 Academy avenue better suited to the following of them. The bar at the Riverside is too small, and understaffed by inexperienced youngsters. The toliets are located in the most silly place requiring people top go upstairs then have to push through the entire length of the balcony bar area. The size of the venue also led to restricted viewing and there were a number of very ill mannered and overtly rude middle aged men. Winge over - the bands were great and didn't fail to deliver. I would have no problem seeing them again but at a venue better suited.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two great bands These two band's capture the real feel of AC/DC and Thin Lizzy at the top of their game. Fantastic tribute acts and an electric absolutely crammed crowd made this a truly great night...Go see them...you will NOT be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracking Night at Riverside Limehouse Lizzy opened the gig with a great high energy set. Then Live Wire took over and rocked the venue. Great set with excellent riffs and vocals to cover both Bon and Brian with cannons to finish the show. Really good night at the Riverside. Look forward to the next one. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
